Surgical limb lifting
Brachioplasty (arm lifting) and thigh lifting are designed to reshape the arm and thigh, respectively.
The skin on the arms or thighs has lost its elasticity and has excess fat. A liposuction procedure combined with skin resection is then necessary to tighten the tissues of the limb.
The surgical intervention
- The excess skin is then removed to retighten the remaining skin.
- A T-shaped incision is made in one of the folds of the armpit and continues on the internal side of the limb.
- The area is liposuctioned.
Patients will then have more aesthetic limbs, better suited to their morphology and daily activities. In order to be fully satisfied, a period of 3 to 6 months is necessary for the tissues to regain their suppleness and for the scars to fade.
