Fractional radiofrequency

Fractional radiofrequency is a revolutionary, non-invasive and risk-free technique that firms, beautifies and rejuvenates the skin. It stimulates the natural production of collagen and consequently promotes wrinkle reduction and skin restructuring. It also prevents skin ageing. Results are visible from the very first session.

What happens during a radiofrequency session?

An anaesthetic gel is applied 1 hour before the session on the surface to be treated. Then we choose the handpiece.
This is made up of micro-needles which allow it to penetrate under the skin at various depths (between 0.2 and 3.5 mm).
After choosing the appropriate settings, the handpiece is placed on the skin. Very high frequency electromagnetic waves will be precisely channelled by transforming electrical energy into heat.
This heat will accelerate blood circulation and cell activity, in order to synthesise more collagen, resulting in increased elasticity of the connective tissue.
The warm sensation is identical to that of sunburn.
Then, the doctor applies a soothing and healing cream. Recovery time is approximately 3 days; the redness can be covered with makeup from the next day.
This treatment is to be repeated 1 month later; a third session can sometimes be necessary in some cases.

The sessions are performed at the Centre Médical du Parc ( 9 avenue des Nerviens • 1040 Brussels).
