AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Purpose

Enhancing appearance without surgery.

INJECTIONS

Injections

Hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a molecule naturally present in the human body. When injected under the skin, it helps restore lost volume, fill wrinkles, and improve skin hydration. Depending on the product used and the treated area, it can have a volumising, restructuring, or revitalising effect.

Results are visible immediately, and downtime is usually minimal, allowing a quick return to social activities.

Indications

  • Facial wrinkles and fine lines
  • Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
  • Tear troughs (under-eye hollows)
  • Lip volume loss
  • Facial volume deficits (cheeks, temples, chin)
  • Facial contour enhancement (jawline, facial oval)
  • Correction of certain asymmetries
  • Deep hydration and skin quality improvement with Skin Boosters
  • Prevention and treatment of early signs of skin ageing

Skin Booster treatments use lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acids specifically designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and radiance without adding volume to the face. They are particularly indicated for tired-looking skin, dehydrated skin, and areas with fine wrinkles.

The surgeon will check for any contraindications and determine the most suitable product for your goals.

The procedure

The injection technique varies depending on the treated area and the desired result. Injections can be performed using fine needles or micro-cannulas to improve comfort and reduce bruising.

Temporary redness, mild swelling, or small bruises may occur after treatment. These effects are usually mild and do not require social downtime.

Your surgeon will provide post-treatment instructions to optimise results and minimise the risk of complications.

Results are immediate, with continued improvement in the following days. Depending on the treated areas, products used, and individual metabolism, results generally last between 8 and 18 months. For Skin Booster treatments, several sessions may be recommended to achieve optimal and long-lasting results.

Botulinum Toxin (“Botox”)

Botulinum toxin is a neuromodulating substance that reduces the activity of facial expression muscles, thereby softening dynamic wrinkles and creating a more youthful, relaxed and rested appearance while preserving natural facial expression. It also helps reduce excessive sweating.

Indications

  • Crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead lines and nasal wrinkles
  • Brow position correction (brow lift effect)
  • “Gummy smile” (excessive gum display when smiling)
  • Socially bothersome axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

Your surgeon will check with you that there are no contraindications to this treatment.

The Procedure

Micro-injections are performed with care to minimise discomfort, which is usually barely perceptible. Mild redness or slight swelling may occur temporarily.

Results appear within 3 to 10 days and typically last 3 to 6 months. The treatment can be combined with other aesthetic procedures for a more global facial rejuvenation effect. Your surgeon will then provide aftercare advice to optimise results following the injections.

Collagen biostimulators (Sculptra®)

Collagen biostimulators, such as Sculptra®, represent an innovative approach to facial rejuvenation. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, they do not directly restore volume but gradually stimulate the body’s natural collagen production.

This stimulation helps restore skin firmness, improve skin quality, and progressively recover volume loss associated with ageing. The result is particularly natural as it relies on the patient’s own tissue regeneration.

Indications

  • Mild to moderate skin laxity
  • Progressive age-related facial volume loss
  • Temple hollowing
  • Cheek sagging
  • Loss of facial oval definition
  • Improvement of skin quality and thickness
  • Prevention of facial ageing
  • Global facial rejuvenation without visible alteration of facial features
  • Correction of selected irregularities or body volume loss

The treatment is particularly suitable for patients seeking a subtle, progressive and long-lasting result, without overcorrection or alteration of facial expressions.

The surgeon will check for any contraindications and determine whether this treatment is appropriate for your situation.

The procedure

The product is injected into different areas of the face using a fine needle or micro-cannula. The treatment is generally well tolerated and can be performed in the clinic.

Mild redness, temporary swelling, or small bruises may appear in the days following the injections. These effects are usually mild and do not require social downtime.

Unlike hyaluronic acid, results are not immediate. Sculptra® works gradually by stimulating new collagen synthesis. Improvement typically appears within weeks after treatment and continues to develop over several months.

Depending on the degree of correction required and tissue condition, 2 to 4 sessions spaced several weeks apart may be recommended to achieve optimal results.

Your surgeon will explain the post-treatment massage protocol and precautions to optimise results.

The results are particularly natural and long-lasting, with improvements that can persist for more than two years in many patients. This treatment provides progressive facial rejuvenation by restoring skin quality and structure in a physiological way.

CARE

Care

Hydration, skin quality enhancement and wrinkle treatment.

Fractional Radiofrequency

Fractional radiofrequency is a revolutionary, non-invasive and safe technique that helps firm, improve and rejuvenate the skin. It stimulates natural collagen production, thereby reducing wrinkles and improving overall skin texture. It also helps prevent skin ageing. Results can be seen from the very first session.

Indications

  • Inflammatory acne
  • Acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Stretch marks
  • Skin laxity of the facial oval, jowls, neck and décolleté
  • Body contouring (arms, thighs, abdomen)
  • Skin rejuvenation
  • Wrinkle reduction
  • Skin tightening

The main contraindications include: pregnancy and/or breastfeeding, pacemaker, melanoma, presence of metallic implants, and keloid scarring tendency.

How does a radiofrequency session work?

An anaesthetic cream is applied one hour before the session on the treatment area. The appropriate handpiece is then selected.

The device is equipped with micro-needles that penetrate the skin at various depths (between 0.2 and 3.5 mm).

After selecting the appropriate settings, the handpiece is applied to the skin. High-frequency electromagnetic waves are delivered precisely, converting electrical energy into heat.

This heat increases blood circulation and cellular activity, stimulating collagen production and improving connective tissue elasticity.

The sensation of heat is similar to a mild sunburn.

The practitioner then applies a soothing and healing cream.

Social downtime is approximately 3 days, with redness usually coverable with makeup from the following day.

This treatment is typically repeated after 1 month, and a third session may be required in some cases.

Sessions are performed at the Centre Médical du Parc (9 avenue des Nerviens • 1040 Brussels).

Cryolipolysis

Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical aesthetic medicine procedure that destroys subcutaneous fat cells through prolonged exposure to cold. This technique targets localised fat deposits in order to reshape and refine the body contour.

Indications

Reduction of localised fat deposits such as:

  • Chin
  • Arms
  • Breast adiposity (adipomastia)
  • Bra line fat
  • Abdomen
  • Love handles
  • Banana roll
  • Thighs
  • Knees
  • Calves

Main contraindications include visceral hernias, cold-related disorders and pregnancy. Your surgeon will check with you that there are no contraindications to this treatment.

How does a cryolipolysis session work?

A session lasts approximately 60 minutes. First, your physician measures the fat fold and defines the treatment parameters to achieve your goals. A cryoprotective sheet is then applied to the treatment area. Once the applicator is positioned, fat crystallisation begins. You can relax, read or listen to music during the session.

At the end of the treatment, your physician massages the treated area for about ten minutes to stimulate lymphatic drainage and accelerate the elimination of fat cells.

Results are not immediately visible, as fat cells are gradually eliminated by the lymphatic system. Improvements can be seen from 4 to 6 weeks after treatment, with continued progress up to 3 to 4 months.

Sessions are performed at the Centre Parati (7 Grand Rue • 1341 Céroux-Mousty).

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a regenerative medicine treatment that uses the patient’s own growth factors to stimulate the body’s natural tissue repair and regeneration processes.

After a simple blood draw, the platelet-rich plasma is isolated and then reinjected into the targeted areas. This technique helps improve skin quality, stimulate collagen production, and promote hair regrowth in certain types of hair loss.

As the injected product comes from the patient’s own body, the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is virtually non-existent.

Indications

Facial PRP

  • Dull and tired complexion
  • Early skin laxity
  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing
  • Reduced skin quality
  • Prevention of skin ageing
  • Improvement of skin texture and hydration
  • Complement to aesthetic facial treatments

Scalp PRP

  • Early to moderate hair loss
  • Androgenetic alopecia in men and women
  • Progressive hair thinning
  • Reduced hair density
  • Maintenance after hair transplantation
  • Stimulation of existing hair growth and quality

The surgeon will check for any contraindications and determine whether this treatment is suitable for your situation.

The procedure

A blood sample is taken in the clinic before the session. The blood is then centrifuged to concentrate the platelets and growth factors naturally present in the plasma.

The PRP is then reinjected into the targeted areas using micro-injections. The session typically lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.

After treatment, mild redness, a feeling of tightness, or slight swelling may temporarily appear. These effects are usually mild and allow a quick return to daily activities.

For facial treatment, PRP gradually stimulates collagen production and improves overall skin quality. The complexion appears brighter, more toned, and more even.

For the scalp, PRP stimulates hair follicles, slows hair loss, and progressively improves hair density and quality. Initial results are usually observed after several weeks or months.

Depending on the indication, an initial course of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is often recommended, followed by maintenance sessions adapted to clinical progress.

Results appear progressively and continue to improve over time thanks to the natural regenerative processes stimulated by the treatment.

Mesotherapy and Microneedling with NCTF®

Mesotherapy and microneedling with NCTF® (New Cellular Treatment Factor) are skin revitalisation treatments designed to improve skin quality, prevent ageing, and restore skin radiance.

NCTF® is a complex combining non-volumising hyaluronic acid with more than 50 revitalising active ingredients (vitamins, amino acids, minerals, coenzymes, and antioxidants) selected to stimulate cellular metabolism and promote skin regeneration.

These treatments help achieve brighter, better hydrated, more toned, and more even skin while maintaining a completely natural result.

Indications

  • Dull and tired complexion
  • Skin dehydration
  • Superficial fine lines
  • Loss of skin radiance
  • Early skin laxity
  • Uneven skin texture
  • Enlarged pores
  • Superficial acne scars
  • Skin exposed to sun or tobacco
  • Prevention and treatment of early signs of ageing
  • Maintenance of skin quality after aesthetic or surgical treatments

Treatments can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, or hands.

The surgeon will assess your skin and determine the most suitable technique for your needs.

The procedure

NCTF® Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy consists of multiple superficial micro-injections of the product into the dermis. This technique delivers directly to skin cells the elements necessary for optimal function.

NCTF® Microneedling

Microneedling uses a device with micro-needles creating controlled micro-perforations in the skin. These micro-channels enhance NCTF® penetration while naturally stimulating collagen and elastin production.

Both techniques can be used separately or combined to achieve a synergistic effect on skin quality.

After the session, redness similar to mild sunburn may persist for a few hours to a few days depending on treatment intensity. A feeling of tightness or mild sensitivity is also common during the first days.

Return to normal activities is generally quick.

Results

Improvement in hydration and skin radiance is often visible within the first weeks. With successive sessions, the skin becomes progressively smoother, denser, and more luminous.

Skin texture improves, fine lines are reduced, and the complexion becomes more even.

Depending on the indication, an initial course of 3 to 5 sessions spaced several weeks apart is generally recommended, followed by maintenance sessions tailored to each patient’s needs.

These treatments fit perfectly into a comprehensive approach to skin ageing and can be combined with other techniques such as Skin Boosters, collagen biostimulators, PRP, or radiofrequency treatments to optimise results.

As with all aesthetic treatments, the best results are achieved when they are part of a global strategy combining medical care, sun protection, and healthy lifestyle habits.

AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Results

Natural, harmonious and progressive.

The objective of each treatment is to achieve a visible improvement while preserving the identity, expression, and natural balance of the face. Each treatment plan is fully personalised according to your facial structure, skin quality, age, and expectations.

The best results are generally achieved through a global approach combining several complementary techniques (botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, collagen biostimulators, PRP, skin treatments, or surgical procedures), as well as appropriate lifestyle measures: sun protection, smoking cessation, balanced diet, regular physical activity, and good sleep quality.

When necessary, your surgeon will establish a personalised treatment plan combining different procedures in order to optimise results, improve their durability, and achieve a natural and harmonious facial rejuvenation.
